Three Critical Issues Facing Today's Workforce
In our October Forum the City Club will explore the critical issues facing today's workforce with a focus on Central Oregon's opportunities and challenges. Jack Smalley, Senior Human Resources Consultant for Express Services Inc. will share experience and insights into the issues of recruitment and retention, the value of diversity and dealing with generational issues in the workplace. Additionally, Connie Worrell-Druliner, Owner of Express Personnel Services will provide local insight and lead discussion about the local workforce picture.
The October 18th presentation will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. Check-in begins at 11:15 a.m. at the Center for Health and Learning in St. Charles Medical Center. St. Charles is located at 2500 Neff Road, in Bend.

JACK SMALLEY 
Jack Smalley, SPHR For the last three decades, Jack Smalley has devoted his career to the field of human resources. His experience includes executive-level management in a number of different industries such as oil, chemical and packaging with an emphasis in manufacturing, engineering, sales, logistics and corporate management.
Jack serves as a senior human resources consultant for Express Services, Inc. He provides human resource training and consulting for more than 500 Express offices and clients in the U.S. and Canada. Jack offers clients preventive measures that minimize the threat of allegations emanating from workplace problems and employee relations issues.
Jack is a member of the Society of Human Resource management and holds the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
